Backed by more than two decades of work in promoting art, culture and heritage by the Founders, Sandeep & Gitanjali Maini Foundation is live on Google Arts & Culture (GAC) from February 26, 2020.  To commemorate this special launch, SGMF presents The Masters & The Modern, An Amalgamation of the Old & New World Classics from February 27, 2021 to March 10, 2021.
 
A first-ever show exhibiting never before seen masterpieces by Raja Ravi Varma and his Contemporaries, namely his brother C. Raja Raja Varma, Sekhara Warrier and Neelakanta Pillai, along with exquisite works of Abanindranath Tagore, Nandalal Bose, Benode Behari Mukherjee and Jamini Roy from the Bengal School of Art.
 
On display are also works by modern artists who have exhibited at the Kochi Muziris Biennale, of which SGMF is a Platinum Partner.
 
The showstopper for the exhibition is a painting by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, whose work titled Immortal: Selfless in A Selfish World, is on public display for the first time.
 
All the works exhibited here belong to important Private Collections from around the country, who have been associated with SGMF and gallery g, whose quarterly newsletter Rubric is attached for your perusal.
