The temple is located in Maayavaram.
The Moolavar is Parimala Ranganaathan,
Maruviniya Maindhan, Sugandavana Naathan in Veerasayanam posture facing
east. The Lord has four hands. Cauvery devi is seated at the
head end & Ganga devi at the foot end. The festival in the month
of Aippasi is very important. People come here to bathe at the spot
where the Cauvery joins the sea.
