Thirupputkuzhi
Thiruputkuzhi is situated 7 miles west
of Kancheepuram on the Chennai Velur route. There is a belief, that
women will be blessed with offsprings by Margadavalli Thaayaar, if the
roasted payaru (moong dhal) that they tie up in thier saree during the
night sprouts the next day.
The Moolavar is Vijayaraghava Perumal
