Thirupirudhi is situated on the way
to Badrinath from Hrishikesh.
The Moolavar Paramapurushan seen
in bujanga sayanam posture facing east. The temples that remain now
are the Narasimhar temple built by Aadi Sankarar & Vaasudevar temple.
It is believed that the alwar sung the paraise of the Vaasudevar in this
temple seen in standing posture. There are differences of opinion,
as to whether this temple is Thirupirudhi sung by the alwar.
